Buddy Holly is widely acknowledged as one of the most important influences on rock ‘n’ rock music, and helped the likes of the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Elton John with his unique music. At just 22 years old, Holly died in a plane crash alongside fellow musicians Richie Valens and J.P ‘The Big Bopper’ Richardson. The date was February the 3rd, 1959 and was named ‘The day music died.’
