Marilyn Monroe was a famous American actress, model and singer, who became a major sex symbol of the 1950’s. In the early hours of August the 5th, 1962, Monroe was reported dead after being found by her housekeeper lying face down in her bed with her hands by her side.
Although there is no concrete reason for her death and many different theories, it’s likely the 36 year old died of a purposeful drug overdose.
