Cher Lloyd has admitted she doesn’t talk to former X Factor mentor Cheryl these days.
But rather than some big showbiz falling out or rumbling feud, it’s simply a case of both women being busy in their lives.
Cheryl mentored a teenage Cher to fourth place on the seventh series of X Factor in 2010, which also featured the likes of One Direction and Rebecca Ferguson.
Since then, Cher’s gone on to enjoy success in both the UK and over in the USA, with albums Sticks and Stones and Sorry I’m Late.

Cher, 24, said on ITV’s Lorraine: “I haven’t heard from her in a long time. She’s so busy with her baby.”
Cheryl and boyfriend Liam Payne welcomed son Bear in March 2017.
Meanwhile, Cher and husband Craig Monk are expecting their first child this year.
Cher said it was incredibly flattering to be compared to Cheryl, after Lorraine showed an old picture of them together.
“I’ll always take that comparison!” she laughed. “Anyone who says that, thank you!”
Cher’s remarks mean any suggestion of frostiness between her and Cheryl in the past is, well, in the past!
There were rumours of a feud between them years and years ago when Cher apparently made a quip about Cheryl using Autotune and her former mentor cryptically tweeted: “Be Careful who you kick on your way up. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down #unappreciationisugly.”
Meanwhile, Cher also admitted on Lorraine she’d never have predicted Cheryl, 34, would hook up with One Direction’s Liam, 24.
“I would never have guessed it but they look so cute together,” she said.
“They make a really great couple.”
Liam was just 14 years old when he first met Cheryl while auditioning for X Factor in 2008 when she was a judge.
He didn’t make it to the live shows and returned two years later, where he was put into boyband One Direction and, well, went on to dominate the charts!
Cheryl and Liam’s romance only blossomed two years ago when they reconnected.
In other Cher news, she’s been busy working on her third album, which she’s currently putting the finishing touches on.

She’s hoping to release the album’s first single in the summer, after her baby is born in May.
Exciting!
