Chart-topper Cheryl has revealed that, when it comes to a night on the tiles, she’s just like all of us!
The singer has revealed that she “drank so much champagne” that she was forced to miss the Britain’s Got Talent wrap party last weekend.
The mum of one – who has just released new single Let You – had been in the audience for the finale and clearly peaked too soon.
Instead of celebrating with winner Colin Thackery and judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and David Walliams, she headed home to bed.
Cheryl told Kiss: “Unfortunately I had already drunk so much champagne throughout the show that I just felt like I couldn’t make it.”
The star was seen looking shocked during the show as escapologist Jonathan Goodwin buried himself alive.

She added: “My head was starting to wobble and I thought, yep, that’s time to go home.”

Revealing that things are “different” now she is a mum, Cheryl decided against carrying on her night and risk a huge hangover the next morning.
She said: “I have to get up with a toddler these days, it’s different!”

The drunken night out comes as Cheryl opened up about the “extreme” fitness regime which left her feeling like she was “dying”.
The singer has also spoken about her “love” for ex-boyfriend Liam Payne.
As Ent Daily reported, the pair have decided to keep things civil for the sake of their two-year-old son Bear.
Revealing that Liam will be in her life “forever”, Cheryl told The Sun: “I’m actually really happy that we can be the way we are. We love and care about each other a lot and we share a child. It’s important that we’re able to have a very healthy good relationship.”
The singer also revealed that she’d “never say never” to dating another celebrity.
