Cheryl has deleted her entire Instagram history, including all evidence of her former relationship with Liam Payne and their son Bear.
Seemingly signalling a fresh start, the singer removed every picture she’s ever posted, just leaving #lovemademedoit – the name of her new single – in her bio.
Cryptically, she then took to Twitter to post a string of butterfly emojis, followed by an ‘eyes’ emoji.

Fans immediately tried to deduce the meaning behind the post, with one writing: “I feel like I need to be a proper Sherlock Holmes,” while another wrote: “Question… what was it love made you do?”

Cheryl’s baffling return to social media comes just one day after her ex Liam Payne took to the X Factor stage alongside Jonas Blue and Lennon Stella.
Liam performed the track Polaroid, which he was widely expected to perform alongside Cheryl before their relationship breakdown earlier this year.

However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out the similarities between Lennon Stella and Liam’s ex, with one fan writing, “Who’s the Cheryl lookalike??”

For her part, Cheryl is hotly tipped to be returning to the X Factor stage later this month for the first time in four years to perform Love Made Me Do It.
While Liam has previously opened up about their split, describing the situation as “difficult”, Cheryl has instead been keeping a low profile.
Speaking to The Sun earlier this year, Cheryl revealed that she had been working on new music with her former Girls Aloud co-star Nicola Roberts, alongside record producer Naughty Boy.
“Nicola and I wrote every track together. It’s been great working with one of my best friends, but I’m really proud of the album and excited for people to hear the new music,” she told the paper.
