Cheryl reveals how her son Bear said “Mama” for the first time

Her son reached a new milestone

Cheryl  keeps her son Bear out of the spotlight, but she has opened up about her little one to reveal that he called her “Mama” for the first time while watching her on TV!

Cheryl explained that Bear recognised her on screen in her new show, The Greatest Dancer.

She told of how the 22-month-old excitedly called out when he realised it was her. Aww!

The 35-year-old said in an interview with Mail Online: “He’s been watching. And it was the first time he said ‘Mama!'”

The usually private star, added: “He said it to the TV. And he’s a natural dancer!”

Cheryl is a judge on the BBC talent show, alongside Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse and Glee star Matthew Morrison.

The mum-of-one has been gradually sharing more snaps of Bear as he gets older, but she has never revealed his face in any of her shots of their family life.

She has Bear with One Direction’s Liam Payne, 25, who she split from last year.

Chez’s confession about her son also comes after her close pal and Girls Aloud bandmate, Kimberley Walsh, opened up about life with their children.

Talking on podcast Made By Mummas, Kimberley, who has sons Bobby and Cole, revealed: “Cole and Bear are so similar in age and then especially in the first year, it was like a daily WhatsApp thing because there’s so many things to talk about in those first few months.”

The 37-year-old continued: “The feeding, the weening, all of those things – and now it’s quite nice because we’re in more of a chilled place.

“They’re both walking, they’re both talking a little bit, they’re just easier.”
