Cheryl Tweedy just can’t catch a break, she’s now been hit with more backlash after offering up a dance masterclass ahead of her judging stint on The Greatest Dancer.
Ahead of the BBC show’s launch, Chez showed viewers how to do some of the moves from Ciara’s Level Up music video in a new clip posted on The Greatest Dancer Instagram page.
The 35-year-old says to camera: “Hi, I’m Cheryl and this is the dance captain’s masterclass”.
Clad in hotpants and a cropped jumper she then teaches viewers some body-popping moves.
But some weren’t very impressed!
One commented: “There are professional dancers & instructors out their probably cringing at this video & completely aghast that someone with limited formal dance training is going to be judging others.”
Another added: “There is dancing and theres gyrating. This most definitely is not dancing [sic].”
While a third labelled the tutorial “embarrassing”.
Fortunately, some fans loved it and hailed her a “Dancing Queen!”.
It comes after Cheryl admitted that she doesn’t have as much training as her co-judges, Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse, 28, and Glee’s Matthew Morrison, 40.
According to The Sun, Cheryl said: “They’ve had really long careers in dance and in performing arts.
“Mentoring other people one-on-one like I did on X Factor might help me with the mentality of how things go. But in terms of knowledge and stuff, they’re more than qualified.”

The latest criticism for the former Girls Aloud singer also follows Jason Gardiner calling her place on the panel “questionable”!
During an interview with The Mirror, the Dancing On Ice judge, 47, said of Cheryl’s dancing past: “The judging line up on that is questionable as well…what’s her dance background? Where is her dance background?”

“She went to Royal Ballet School that you pay for, an extortionate amount to go to because mum and dad just want to drop you off somewhere for the holidays.”
