Girls Aloud have not performed on stage together for five years, but fans could be in for a treat.
Kimberley Walsh has hinted that the band could reunite for their 20th anniversary, adding that it is not an idea she has dismissed.
Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, the singer admitted: “I wouldn’t rule it out, absolutely not.
“It may be something that will happen in the future – maybe for the 20th [anniversary].
“If the planets collided and it was the right time, then definitely.”

But the big question of everyone’s lips is whether Cheryl will agree to reunite with Kimberley, Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding in five years’ time?
Cheryl is currently working on new music and is, of course, a busy mum to son Bear – so would she want a reunion?
There were rumours recently that Cheryl had allegedly branded the idea “cringe” – but we’re sceptical.
After all, she told The Mirror just last year she’d never rule out a reunion.
Cheryl said: “I would never say never. We had an amazing time when we were together. I watched a tour thing the other day online and it brought back lots of memories. I was feeling really nostalgic.”
Girls Aloud were formed on the 2002 reality show Popstars: The Rivals and spent the next seven years dominating the charts.
Following a three-year hiatus, the group reunited in celebration of their 10th anniversary but, after the final gig of their TEN tour, announced Girls Aloud would be no more.
The girls all went their separate ways and, just last week, Nadine admitted that she has no contact with her bandmates.
In an interview with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, she said: “I don’t speak to them. I’ve not spoken to them in a long, long time.
“Sarah and I occasionally speak. Very occasionally. She phoned me before she went into Celebrity Big Brother and I was like: ‘What are you doing?’ I was worried about how they’d portray her. But that’s it.”

When asked if she “missed” her former bandmates, Nadine simply replied: “No.”
Never mind Cheryl, it sounds like Nadine could take some persuading too!
