Chris Hughes has insisted there is “no bad blood” between him and Katie Price these days.
The Love Island star got into a he-said-she-said war of words with Katie last year over allegations of flirty messages that all got a bit messy and convoluted.
But now, in an interview with The Sun, reality star Chris, 24, has said it’s all water under the bridge and he and Katie, 39, are on good terms.
“There is no bad blood between me and Katie,” he said. “She is fine. I want to put everything that has happened behind me.”
Chris, who was speaking at a Green Flag event, added that he recently bumped into Katie and her husband, Kieran Hayler, at a football charity match, and everything was totally fine and cordial between them.
Good to hear!
Basically, they met when Chris appeared on Loose Women as a guest last year.
They exchanged some banter on air, posed for a pic backstage and went on their separate ways. Or so we thought…

Chris then accused ex glamour model Katie of messaging him despite knowing he had a girlfriend in Olivia Attwood (who is now his ex).
Katie said Chris had responded to the messages. He steadfastly denied that ever happened.
Katie then claimed she had 52 screengrabs proving Chris did reply to her message, prompting a furious Chris to share a lengthy and very foul-mouthed rant to Twitter, which he then deleted.
In response, Katie told This Morning: “It’s so pathetic. I don’t care if you sent me a message or not. I don’t care. Just don’t call me a liar when I’m not a liar. I think he’s getting himself in a rut and doesn’t know how to get out of it.”
Chris hit back by telling OK! mag: “Either the messages are from someone pretending to be me, or Katie has made them up because she’s embarrassed that I posted the flirty messages she sent me and wants to make me look bad.”
So messy!
Katie, meanwhile, is just returning to the public eye after taking some time out to undergo a mini face lift in Belgium.
Her spokesperson confirmed to New magazine that Katie needed the mini face lift to correct damage left behind when she had the threads from her earlier face lift removed.
“The work she’s done this time was restorative work so she could get back to looking like her,” said Katie’s agent.
“She was really upset at the time. It knocked her confidence completely, but she feels better already.
“She’s got swelling but she’s fine. She feels better already. She can tell the difference straight away.”
Chris, meanwhile, can currently be seen in ITVBe’s reality show Crackin’ On alongside now-ex Olivia.
The couple, who met on last year’s Love Island, began filming the show while still a couple, but split during filming in heartbreaking scenes aired last week.
Chris recently spoke about the difficulties of having a relationship in the public eye.
He said: “I think being in the public eye opens you up to a lot of opinions and criticism, and that can take a toll and become quite draining.
“Little things which might be irrelevant if you weren’t in the public eye can really scrutinise your relationship and make things tougher than they would naturally be.
“You have to hold up a relationship and adapt to an environment you’re not used to at the same time.”
