Christine Lampard from Loose Women has revealed that she gained more than three stone during pregnancy last year.
The presenter, 40, said she is still one stone heavier than her ideal weight, and while she lacks the “dedication” to juggle daily gym trips with work and motherhood, she does manage to go out on regular walks.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: “I put on three and a half stone and I’m still a stone overweight but I couldn’t give a damn. Loose clothes is the answer.

“And bigger shoes. My feet have expanded so my size-seven boats are now size-eight ferries.”
She went on to say that she “can’t fathom” how some new mums make it to the gym every day, adding: “That takes dedication I’ll never possess. I walk a lot with our dog Minnie and the baby in her pram, so that’s what passes as my ‘exercise regime’.”
Even during her pregnancy, Christine confidently insisted she “couldn’t care less” about putting on weight.
In a conversation with the Daily Mirror in June 2018, she told how she will not be worrying about how she looks as she gains weight while carrying her first child.
The Lorraine stand-in said she is only concerned about the baby’s wellbeing, telling the publication: “I couldn’t care less about putting on weight, as long as everything’s OK inside. I’m not training [in the gym], just walking the dog. That’s it. I’m just taking it all in my stride.
“I’m feeling great. I’m eating a lot of ice cream, but I think that’s more to do with the weather than the pregnancy cravings.”
Christine’s daughter Patricia was born in September 2018. Her husband, ex footballer Frank Lampard, has two other daughters – Luna, 14, and Isla, 12 – from his relationship with ex Elen Rivas.
