Strictly star Claudia Winkleman’s younger sister has been seriously injured in a car crash, it has been reported.
Sophie, 37, who is married to royal Lord Frederick Windsor, has reportedly suffered a suspected broken back and broken foot.
The actress was apparently in the passenger seat of the chauffeur-driven vehicle, which was transporting her home from a film set.
According to the Daily Mail, another car ploughed head-on into her car after swerving to avoid a deer in the road.
Both drivers were also injured in the collision.
Sophie was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, before being transferred to London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
The actress remains in hospital and faces weeks of recuperation following the crash 11 days ago.
Sophie’s father-in-law is the Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent; she and husband Freddie have two children.
The TV star is best known for her role in Channel 4 comedy Peep Show, but also appeared in US sitcom Two And A Half Men.
