Hey folks, Amy Childs is finally a mummy!
The big news we’ve all been waiting for was announced – bizarrely – by her close friend Binky Felstead just hours after she’d given birth when she congratulated her online (what happened to just sending a personal text?).
Binky’s pregnant too and must be eager to pop out her little bubba, but of course today is Amy’s day.
Amy gave birth to a beautiful baby girl early this morning – 6.24am to be precise.
A giddy Binky plastered on Twitter: “EEEEEK congratulations @MissAmyChilds !!!!! Wishing you & your new little family all the best and happiness in the world! So exciting!!”
An exhausted Amy managed to get her fake-nailed fingers to type an appreciative reply: “Thank you Hun she is perfect.”
“I’m sure she is!!” mum-to-be Binky replied. “Cannot wait to meet her. Hope you’re resting up.”

So what has Amy decided to called her wee one?
Well, we’re not sure yet as she’s probably waiting to announce all that kind of info for a price in her inevitable OK! baby shoot.
Amy has previously explained she and her man Brad have a shortlist of five names – Amy chose three, Brad chose two – but they weren’t going to choose which until they had met their little girl.
It sounds like it might be a tussle over what to go for.
Amy recently said: “Brad likes traditional names but I’m not too sure. I’m not saying mine are out there, but maybe a bit different. I really liked India at first, but I’ve gone off that now.”
And another favourite name was ruined by X Factor’s least funny comedy contestant last year.
“One of my girls said I should call her Honey, but if I’m honest, Honey G has put me off!”
Although the birth seemed to happen without major incident, there have been a few dramas along the way.
A couple of weeks ago, the clumsy former TOWIE star got herself into a panic after injuring herself late in her pregnancy after falling over at home:
“I tripped and fell over the stair gate, which I have for my dog.
“I lost four toenails and was covered in cuts and bruises.
“OMG, I was in such a panic! I called my midwife but all was OK as I fell on to my side and not my belly.”
And then just last week, the anxious poppet thought she was going into labour early.
“OMG I had a moment where I thought I was in labour!
“I had cramps and pains and my belly was tightening. I woke Brad up and said, ‘she’s coming!’
“I told him to get the car ready, but then I gave myself a little moment and realised the pains weren’t regular – it was Braxton Hicks again!”

One thing that won’t be in pain now she’s given birth is her bank account. It’s reported the 26-year-old reality star is set to make £1 million from a baby clothes range and other baby tie-ins.
A friend said: “Amy’s business ventures are going from strength-to-strength as her beauty clinic prepares to offer new high-end aesthetic treatments. Her fashion collection is now gearing up to launch an exciting baby line.”
