Coleen Nolan’s sister Maureen showed off the results from her facelift surgery during Tuesday’s Loose Women.
Maureen, 64, underwent the procedure in May after saying years of family tragedy have aged her.
Coleen, who previously said she didn’t approve of her sister’s decision, admitted she wanted to “sob” and “punch” Maureen when she first saw her after the surgery.

When asked how she feels now that she’s undergone the procedure, Maureen said: “Fantastic. I’m still a little bit swollen here and there and [there’s] slight bruising.
“But I feel great. I’m glad it’s all over.”
Coleen, 53, was by Maureen’s side when she went under the knife.
Recalling the moment she saw Maureen after her surgery, Coleen said: “I could have sobbed when I saw you bandaged up and swollen.
“Then I was really angry at you. I wanted to just punch you because you looked so tired and in pain and when you were talking to me, a bit of blood came down [your face].
“I just thought, ‘why have you done that to yourself,’ because you were, and still are, so beautiful to me.”
She added: “If it had gone wrong I’d have been so angry.
“But I have to say you do look fantastic. Also the staff at the hospital were fantastic, they were amazing looking after her.”
Speaking about her decision to have the surgery, Maureen admitted: “For me it was maintenance. Somebody said to me, ‘I can make you look younger,’ and my attitude was why wouldn’t you?
“Coleen is saying why would you? And I’m saying why wouldn’t you?”
Maureen said she “woke up three times” during the op, however, she “didn’t feel anything”.
Maureen said people would always comment on her looks when she was younger rather than her singing or acting talents.
She said: “I’ve done some great acting jobs and the worst thing people would say was, ‘you’re so beautiful,’ when I came out the stage door.
“Nothing about my singing or my acting.”
Coleen then asked her sister: “Is that it now? Have I got to sit through anything else you’re having done?”
Maureen quipped: “Well, now I might start on my body, who knows?”
Back in May, Coleen said she didn’t realise how “emotional” she would get seeing her sister go through the process.
“I was fine all day and when she went in [for the surgery],” said Coleen.
“But when she came out and I saw her afterwards, she just looked like she had came out of a boxing ring.
“[Her face] was so swollen and she was so uncomfortable.”
A week earlier, Maureen insisted having the surgery was just the same as maintaining a car.

She told the panel: “I can’t understand all the hoo-ha. For me, it’s just maintenance. You maintain your car, why don’t you maintain your looks?”
She added: “I always said if I looked in the mirror and thought I’m depressed then I would have something done, and that day has come.”
