Coleen Nolan says her feud with Kim Woodburn has done her “a favour”.
The 54-year-old took a three-month break from Loose Women last year following a furious on-air row with her former fellow Celebrity Big Brother housemate.
Kim ended up walking off set in tears and Coleen was branded a “bully” on social media, an allegation she vehemently denied.
However, Coleen said the whole situation has been a blessing in disguise because she was able to take time out, and is now “in a great place”.

Coleen told New! magazine: “I don’t like to dwell on or remember that time. I needed to take time out of the spotlight and prioritise what was really important, which is my family and friends and the people who wish me well.
“I was going through a bit of a hard time anyway with my divorce and I was trying to sell my house, and it all got on top of me.
“But the whole thing did me a favour because taking time out has put me in a great place. I’m loving life and loving my job. No one can expect to be liked by everyone, so I will aim not to let it bother me if it ever happens again.”
Coleen has sons Shane, 30 and Jake, 26, with her first husband Shane Richie, and a daughter Ciara, 17, with her second husband Ray Fensome, who she divorced recently.
Despite splitting from her husband, the TV star says the pair are currently “good friends” and have a strong bond because they raised a child together.
She said on Loose Women: “We are genuinely good friends. We’re much better now than we were in the last couple of years of our marriage.

“He comes round to see Ciara and sometimes stays over – in the spare room, may I add. He’s always really supportive of what I do.
“It’s much better than being at each other’s throats. And how can you hate someone you’ve spent 17 years and had a child with?”
