Coleen Nolan’s son Shane has hit out at his mum for her “creepy” behaviour towards his ex-girlfriends.
Shane, 29, revealed that his famous mum once told one of his ex-girlfriends that “he will never be fully” her own.
During a discussion about possessive mothers on Loose Women, Shane sent a statement to tell his mum that her behaviour “has to stop”.

Read out by Stacey Solomon, the statement said: “My mum once pulled me away from kissing my girlfriend at the time, so she could hug me.
“She used to say to my girlfriends, ‘He will never be fully yours’. It needs to stop. It’s creepy.”
But doting mum Coleen was quick to defend her actions, saying her ex-husband Shane Richie’s mother said the same thing to her when she started dating him.
She told her fellow panellists: “No it is not a true story. My ex mother-in-law did that to me when I was first going out with Shane.
“When he walked out of the room she said, ‘He’ll never be yours and he will be home in six weeks.’”
She added: “I replied, ‘probably with my cooking he will be home in hour.’”
Meanwhile during an episode of the show on Tuesday, Coleen recalled the terrifying moment she feared Shane Jr could have choked to death when he was a baby.
The presenter said she’s still traumatised to this day by witnessing her child struggling to breathe after a biscuit became lodged in his throat.
Speaking about the incident, she said: “When Shane Jr was nine or ten months I was introducing solids and gave him a little baby biscuit.
“He choked and it was probably only a matter of seconds but it felt like hours.”
She said she was on her own and he was her first child, so she panicked.
The 53-year-old said she didn’t know what to do to help him and ended up shaking him upside down which dislodged the biscuit.
Coleen admitted that since the terrifying ordeal, she still has a “terrible phobia” of children choking.
She added: “It carries on now with my granddaughter, I can’t bear to look at her eating.”

She said it also affected how she treated Shane and her other kids when they were younger.
Coleen said she was reluctant to give them solid foods at a young age and that resulted in them becoming fussy eaters.
Coleen has Shane and son Jake with first husband, EastEnders actor Shane, and daughter Ciara with her second husband Ray Fensome.
