Coleen Rooney has treated fans to a brand new picture of her adorable newborn son, Cass Mac.
The 30-year-old uploaded a sweet photo to Instagram on Thursday to mark one whole week since the little boy’s arrival in the world.
Her snap showed a sleeping Cass with a card resting on his torso that read: “Today I am one week old.”

Fans loved the cute photo, with one saying: “He’s beautiful such a little cutie.”
Another said: “He is scrumptious Coleen, well done you gorgeous mummy.”

A third added: “Congratulations to you all on another beautiful little addition to your family, he’s precious.”
And a fourth remarked: “Omg!!! He is so adorable just like his big brothers.”
Coleen and husband Wayne, 32, welcomed their fourth son on Thursday, February 15.
In a short message to fans, Coleen said: “So happy to welcome our Baby Boy …. Cass Mac Rooney into the world weighing a healthy 8lb 10oz. He is beautiful.”
They’re already parents to sons Kai, eight, Klay, four, and two-year-old Kit, meaning Coleen is a bit outnumbered in the Rooney household!
Coleen and Wayne have yet to explain the meaning behind Cass’ name.
Fans of the couple know that it was a break in tradition for them to choose a name beginning with ‘C’ when their other three children all have ‘K’ names.
While neither Coleen nor Wayne has revealed why they chose Cass, sources have suggested the name could be inspired by boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who was born Cassius Clay.
A source told The Sun that Wayne is a huge boxing fan and loved the name Cassius, but he and Coleen “decided to shorten it to be a bit more original and couldn’t be happier.”
The insider added: “They’re on cloud nine.”
There’s no word from the Rooneys yet on whether any of this is true, but it’s not the first time it’s been speculated they took inspiration from the late Muhammad Ali.
When their second son, Klay, was born in 2013, it was immediately suggested they’d named him after Ali’s actual middle name, Clay.
It’s been speculated the middle name ‘Mac’ is in tribute to Coleen’s maiden name of McLoughlin.
Meanwhile, Coleen recently thanked her local Liverpool hospital for the support she received during Cass’ birth.

She tweeted: “Thank you so much @LiverpoolWomens hospital, as it always has been with my other children, you were fantastic again.
“We are so lucky to have such fantastic and caring doctors, nurses, midwives and staff etc to look after us. I really appreciate all your hard work x.”
