Coleen Rooney is currently soaking up the sun over in the Caribbean but even on the other side of the world, she’s still managing to make headlines.
We’ve all heard those totally unconfirmed rumours her marriage to footballer husband Wayne has been on shaky ground ever since his drink-driving arrest in another woman’s car.
As neither Coleen, 31, nor Wayne, 32, has spoken out about the speculation, it’s all got a bit out of hand.
The latest story to emerge suggests pregnant Coleen has reverted back to her MAIDEN name of McLoughlin.

Where did that story come from? Well, it’s all because she was spotted lounging on a Barbados beach on Monday next to a designer handbag monogrammed with the initials CM.
CM = Coleen McLoughlin.
Sorted. A clear sign she’s totally ditching Wayne and there’s no going back, right?
Er, except not quite…
In fact, it could be the exact opposite as an amused Coleen took to Twitter to clear up the speculation and drop a major hint she’s forgiven her hubby.
She tweeted: “Stories, stories, stories. My mum’s initials are CM ….. not my bag!!!”
Her mum is Colette McLoughlin aka CM.
Now, given Coleen could have just ignored the story, the fact she replied and clarified she’s very much still Mrs Rooney could be an indicator she’s not giving up on marriage just yet.
Fans certainly seemed to think so, with many telling Coleen to ignore the constant speculation and just focus on her family.
Others defended her decision to not wear a wedding ring, pointing out she’s pregnant and perhaps the band doesn’t fit at the moment, rather than it meaning she’s angry with Wayne.
One told her: “Don’t even rise to it! They seem to forget people’s fingers swell when they are pregnant too! You’re doing a fab job! Xx.”
Another said: “I feel so sorry for her – her ring is probably a bit tight from her pregnancy & they are making such a big deal of it. Just leave her alone!”
A third added: “Literally the stupidest thing I’ve read! Enjoy your holiday with your boys xx.”
And a fourth said: “I’m fed up of people’s negativity and interfering in this lovely lady’s life. Just let her get on with her life with her family in private.”
Coleen is currently in Barbados with her parents and three young sons: Kai, seven, Klay, four, and Kit, 22 months.
They’re enjoying a half-term break at the exclusive Sandy Lane Hotel while Wayne remains in the UK because of footballing commitments.
The timing of the holiday means Coleen and the children missed Wayne’s 32nd birthday, which falls today.
According to The Sun, Coleen booked the holiday to escape the recent stress caused by Wayne’s drink-driving arrest in another woman’s car.
Wayne was pulled over by police in Cheshire on September 1 following a boozy night out, while driving a car belonging to office worker Laura Simpson, who was in the passenger seat.
The footballer pleaded guilty to a drink-driving charge and was handed a two-year driving ban and 100 hours of unpaid community service.
An insider claimed: “[Coleen] is still very angry at Wayne. But she doesn’t see why she or the children should suffer.
“She doesn’t really want to leave Wayne at home as she feels like she can’t trust him. But she doesn’t really want to go on holiday with him either.”
It’s Coleen’s seventh holiday this year and second trip to Barbados; she’s also been to Italy, Portugal, Majorca, Ibiza and Greece, not to mention the likes of Madrid, Amsterdam, and Lake Como for weekends.
Coleen defended her travel plans in a sassy tweet last week, saying: “7th Holiday??? ….. I thought it was more than that!! Half term with the kids…. hope you all enjoy yours & make lots of fun memories.”
And why not?!
