He’s been snappy and unsteady on his feet, worrying daughter Kate, but when he collapses at home next week, it’s confirmation that he’s not a well bunny.
But what is wrong with him and will this latest collapse lead to his rumoured exit from the show, paving the way for Jenny Bradley to take over Underworld and become ALL POWERFUL.
At first, Kate puts his strange behaviour down to him having an affair, but she couldn’t be further from the truth.
But when she spots Johnny leaving Victoria Court with an attractive woman, and then takes a telephone call from a hotel confirming a booking for Mr Connor, she puts two and two together.
The hotel was actually booked by Aidan who is planning a secret romp with Maria. But he lies and tells Kate it was a surprise for Eva.
Has Aidan not heard of online booking?
When Kate heads off to confront Johnny, his leg gives way and he falls to the floor.

She begs him to see a doctor and he agrees he will, just as long as she doesn’t let slip to Jenny that anything is wrong.
