Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has discovered she has a talent for pole dancing after aceing her first class.
The 22-year-old actress, who plays Bethany Platt in the soap, shared an image from her lesson with her Instagram followers.
Lucy’s picture shows the flexible star doing the splits against the pole with her body bent over.
“LOVED my first pole fitness class at @kellyameliafitness today!” Lucy wrote beside the snap, where she’s pictured wearing shorts and a black vest top with her blonde hair in a ponytail.
Her fans couldn’t get over how supple she was, and how she’d managed to achieve the tricky move after just one session.
“Woaw that is skill!” said one. “Please can I have your flexibility omg!!” wrote another.
A third said: “HOW is that your first class ? .. I’m doing it over a year and can’t do that.”
A fourth agreed, writing: “First lesson. Wow I’m 5 years on and a year stretching and can’t do this. Good job!”
Another said: “WOW that’s your first go? Very impressive, can’t wait to see what you can do in six weeks time.”
A further fan warned her: “You will become addicted Lucy – I have been for years!”
Meanwhile, Lucy’s sister Laura commented: “Deffo coming next week. Can’t wait!”
Lucy revealed back in January that she wanted to take up pole dancing as she hoped it would help her keep fit and feel good about herself.
She told The Sun: “I would love to learn. I think my sister Racheal would like to as well so maybe we’ll start going to some lessons soon. Hopefully it will help me bring out my inner sexy side.”
Lucy said for her sister’s hen do last year, she’d given the activity a go, and was keen to book into a class.
She added: “You have to have so much upper body strength and the next day I could barely lift my arms up. I felt like I had hurt myself. It was the first time that I felt like I’d given my body a proper work out, so I would love to take it up. It was so good.”
Lucy’s Corrie character, Bethany Platt, recently took up lap-dancing to help rebuild her confidence after being the victim of a vile sex grooming ring.
Lucy has won critical acclaim for her portrayal of the harrowing storyline, including a National Television Award.
She recently told the Loose Women of the plot: “It’s had such an amazing reaction – we wanted to raise as much awareness as possible.

“We spoke to so many survivors of this kind of thing. They all said they thought they were in a loving relationship – especially if it’s the first relationship you’ve had, you think it’s normal.”
