Sam Aston’s wife Briony has revealed she was groped by a stranger in a shop.
The yoga teacher, who married Coronation Street actor Sam last month, took to Instagram to talk about the incident.
Briony said the man “followed her from aisle to aisle at TKMaxx” before she confronted him for touching her “buttock”.

She wrote: “Yesterday in TKMaxx Rawtenstall a man completely disrespected my personal space.
“He walked in front of me so close I could have smelt him. I moved away and pretended to be looking at the plants on the shelf when he brushed past me from behind and something of his touched my buttock.
“It could have been the poke of a finger or light press of a hand. I jolted away and raced to another aisle.
“He then followed me to various aisles in the store and kept smiling at me.
“I told him, ‘You’re making me feel very uncomfortable,’ to which he replied, ‘I’m sorry,’ in the most patronising way, in a way – I believe – an innocent man wouldn’t have said.”
She continued: “Last night I went through the stages of fear, upset, anger and disbelief. Now I’m feeling curious.
“Curious as to why someone thinks that following and touching someone else without consent is OK.
“Curious if he thinks he’s got away with it. Curious if he realises how much he underestimated me. Luckily I managed to record his creepy ‘apology’ on my phone and his car registration.
“I wonder if his partner or kids or friends or colleagues know what kind of person he is.
“I wonder if he knows what kind of person I am. I wonder if by some slim chance he’s reading this and if so, I hope his roots can feel my thunder.”
Her followers were shocked by the incident, with many people praising Briony for how she handled it.
Briony married Sam – who plays Chesney Brown in the ITV soap – at Stock Farm in Cheshire, surrounded by family and friends last month, before they jetted off to a luxury resort in the Maldives.
The couple described their special day as “perfect” and “joy on the highest level”.

Sam told OK! Magazine: “When I turned around and saw Briony, I thought she looked unbelievably beautiful. The ceremony was a surreal experience – it was joy on the highest level.”
Briony added: “The whole day was perfect. I didn’t stop crying! I didn’t think Sam would be as emotional as he was.”
Sam also admitted their first dance almost ended in tears as he nearly “dropped” yoga teacher Briony at the end.
