They say money can’t buy you happiness, but Alan Halsall would beg to differ!
The Coronation Street star has shown off his new Mercedes AMG GTC and he insists it’s made him very happy indeed.
The actor recently treated himself to the luxurious motor and decided to share his excitement with fans.
Sharing a snap of the vehicle on his driveway, Alan wrote on Instagram: “You can’t buy happiness but…. you can buy a new car and that’s kind of the same thing.”
He added: “(#notaAd but thanks to @davejowitt1 @lshautouk for great service).”
The Mercedes model certainly doesn’t come cheap. The top of the range car’s starting price is around £104,000.
Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the Cobbles, said he was using the sunny weather as an excuse to take his new toy for a spin.

But it wasn’t just the 36-year-old’s smart wheels that got his followers talking. Fans were also impressed by his swanky house in the background of the pic!

And a third added: “Loving the car and house 😍.”
Alan’s splurge comes as he enjoys single life again.
He split from his actress wife Lucy-Jo Hudson in May last year. They have five-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae together.

Alan has been linked to former co-star Tisha Merry after they were pictured together at a rugby match earlier this year. However, he insisted that they’re just pals.
