According to the paper Levi made the announcement on social media by posting a picture of her 12-week scan and the baby is due on December 8th.
The Sun also reports that 16-year-old Alex who plays troubled teen Simon Barlow in the ITV soap has been telling friends at his school in Lancashire that Levi is expecting.
A source allegedly told the publication: “Alex has been telling everyone he’s going to be a father. He isn’t keeping it a secret.
“It’s hard to tell if he’s happy about it or not but he’s definitely not ashamed of it. But some people have been saying how young he is to be having a baby.
“It’s only happened to one other person at his school in recent years so it is pretty shocking.”
The source added: “He’s probably just aiming to get through his exams so he can concentrate on his acting — and now a baby.”
It’s thought that Alex and Levi – who is also 16 – have been together since April last year.
The Sun also says that Levi’s mum – Judith Calvert – has posted a picture of her daughter’s baby scan on her Facebook page too. She added the caption: “Call me Granny Walton.”
Alex has played Peter Barlow’s son on Coronation Street since he was just six years old. He’s been involved in some dramatic storylines including domestic violence against his adoptive mum Leanne Battersby.
At the moment Simon has taken up hanging out with a gang and has put Audrey Roberts in hospital. He recently tried to blackmail step-mum Toyah Battersby after finding out she was keeping secrets from dad Peter.
