Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd has split from his fiancée Lauren Shippey after a 15-year relationship.
The soap actor, who is best known as the cobbles’ David Platt, first met Lauren when they were both just 14 years old.
She famously gave him a second chance when it emerged he’d bedded another woman in 2010, who later gave birth to his son.

Confirming the separation, a representative for Jack told The Sun: “Jack and Lauren remain the best of friends and their main focus is the care of their children.”
A reason for the break-up has not been revealed.
They are parents to daughter Nyla, eight, and son Reuben, three.
Jack got sales executive Sammy Milewski pregnant after a one-night-stand in 2010.
She then gave birth to a son, Greyson, with a DNA test proving that he is the father.
At the time, Jack, now 29, issued a statement: “I would like to apologise to my family, for all the hurt and pain I have caused them, to ITV Granada for letting them down, and especially to Lauren and [our daughter] Nyla, who are the most important people in my life.
“I now need to concentrate on what is really important, my family and my career, as I have abused my position as an employee, partner and father, and for that I am deeply sorry.”
It was initially reported that Lauren, also now 29, had thrown Jack out of their family home before taking him back.
They reportedly became engaged shortly afterwards, when Jack presented Lauren with a £3,000 diamond ring.
Their second child, Reuben, arrived two years later.
Meanwhile, Jack’s son with Sammy suffers from the rare neurological disorder Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood.
It can lead to painful paralysis of the face and body at random.

“From being soo poorly to just get up an say he’s better an start dancing. Couldn’t be prouder of him.”
