Corrie’s Kate Ford shares pic of handsome young son

They watched a musical together

Kate Ford has shared a sweet photo of her son Otis as they enjoyed a day out to watch a musical.

The Coronation Street actress took to Instagram to post a series of snaps after they watched Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, a musical inspired by the 2011 BBC Three documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16.

The first photo sees Otis, 10, posing alongside actor John McCrea, who plays Jamie New in the show.

Kate, who plays Tracey Barlow in the soap, then posted a photo of Otis smiling alongside Kate’s former Corrie co-star Shobna Gulati, who played Sunita Alahan in the soap.

FYI, Shobna plays the role of family friend Ray in the musical.

The final photo in Kate’s post sees the stage as she and Otis sit in the audience.

Kate captioned the post: “Had an amazing afternoon #everyonestalkingaboutjamie seeing brilliant @shobnagulati… it’s totally fab!!”

Fans loved seeing a glimpse of Otis, with one saying he’s the “spitting image” of Kate.

One person wrote: “Otis is such a cutie!” while another said: “Omg he’s the spitting image of you!!! X.”

A third added: “What a lovely wee boy!”

Kate, 41, shares Otis with her ex-husband Jon Connerty.

Last month, the actress left her Twitter followers in hysterics after posting a picture her son drew of her when he was little.

Kate revealed Otis had drawn the funny pic when he was just five years old.

Otis had drew his mum as a smiling stick figure sporting a comically large pair of breasts.

Kate joked: “Let’s take a minute to remember the beautiful portrait my son did of me when he was aged 5 simply titled ‘mummy’.”
