Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon proved she’s NOT to be messed with after leaping to the defence of her boyfriend Tom Leech.
The actress, best known as the cobbles’ Bethany Platt, wasted no time in firing back at a fan who left a cruel comment about Tom on her Instagram page.
Lucy, 21, had posted a loved up photo of herself and Tom, 26, last week, with the caption: “I am your sweetheart, psychopathic crush.”
While plenty of fans gushed over the cute couple, one didn’t seem that impressed, and boldly remarked: “Ew I wouldn’t trust him as far as I can throw him. Looks deranged, greasy and really arrogant. You can do so so much better.”
Ouch.

Well, Lucy wasn’t having it and quickly hit back with a response of her own.
The angry soap star said: “I don’t give a flying [bleep] what you think, to be fair. As u weren’t x.”
Lucy 1 – 0 Fan.
Lucy has publicly branded businessman Tom ‘The One’ and has even said they’ll marry and have children in the future.
Speaking to OK! magazine in July, she gushed: “[I’ve] definitely [met the one].
“[But marriage is] not going to happen for a long time, I’m only 21 and I’d like to get married when I’m 25 or 26.”
Tom, meanwhile, has revealed Lucy sends him photos of engagement rings she likes, saying: “Marriage is definitely where we’re heading so I store images away for when I need them.”
It’s been a pretty great week for Lucy, who was crowned Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards.
The stunned star – who has won critical acclaim for her character Bethany’s harrowing sex grooming plot – took to Instagram to thank fans for voting for her.
“I am so honoured and really grateful,” she said.
“The amount of support I have had this year has been overwhelming and I am completely amazed. You’re all stunning. So happy to be sharing mine and Bethany’s journey with you all.
“We both LOVE you a million percent.”

Lucy added: “Just wanna say a MASSIVE thank you to my family (especially my beautiful mum) and Tom for being the best they could possibly be because I wouldn’t even be here without them.”
