Coronation Street’s Samia Longchambon has treated fans to a throwback snap of her wedding day as she celebrated her one year anniversary with husband Sylvain Longchambon.
The couple tied the knot last August at a lavish affair at Delamere Manor – the former home of Gary Barlow.
Reflecting on her big day Samia, 35, said it was the most “wonderful day of our lives”.

The actress, who plays Maria Connor in the ITV soap, uploaded a pic of them both hand-in-hand walking down the aisle.
Showing off her gorgeous dress Samia gave the biggest grin while professional ice skater Sylvain looked lovingly at his new wife.
She captioned the post: “One year ago today the most wonderful day of our lives was just beginning…
“Happy anniversary my gorgeous, crazy, amazing husband @slongchambon love you more every day ❤️ #mrandmrs #weddingmemories.”
The star’s followers rushed to comment on the sweet photo with one saying: “Happy Anniversary, have a wonderful day❤️.”
Samia’s co-star Kym Marsh said: “Stunning pair!!! Happy anniversary you beauties xxx love you Sam Sam.”
“What a stunning pic.. Happy Anniversary to you both enjoy this special day xx,” a third gushed.
Speaking last year shortly after her special day Samia revealed that her seven-year-old daughter Freya, who she shares with ex-husband Matt Smith, played a huge part in the day.
She said: “Freya walked me down the aisle.
“I didn’t want her to give me away as she’s never going to have to give me away in her life, so she just walked me down the aisle.”
The couple, who have one son together Yves Joseph, exchanged vows in front of their 500 close family and friends three years after first meeting on ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
According to sources the couple arrived at their reception on a gold cart and the party went on until the early hours.
But their relationship hasn’t been all plain sailing.
Their romance didn’t get off to the best start with rumours of cheating surrounding the pair.
At the time they got together Sylvain had been dating Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe for two years.
Within months Samia and Sylvain had moved in together.
But it proved to be a stressful time for the new couple. Samia previously revealed: “A few of Jennifer’s friends targeted me on Twitter and sent the most vile tweets you can ever imagine.
“They thought we had been having an affair behind her back and that I had stolen her man [but] it absolutely wasn’t true.”

Now it seems the pair overcame the difficult patch and their relationship appears to be stronger than ever.
Speaking earlier this year Samia admitted they hadn’t planned anything to mark their anniversary this month.
She said: “I’ve got some holidays booked around that time but we’ve not actually booked anything yet so we’ll probably be celebrating with a cocktail somewhere nice.
“It’s flown by, it really has. But I think life does that when you get older, it’s just like life seems to be flashing before me.”
