Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall has revealed on social media how he has been working up a sweat with a former co-star.
It is believed Alan, 36, enjoys a spot of badminton with Tisha Merry – who played waitress Steph Britton in Weatherfield – and showed off his latest win to his Instagram followers.
A video showed Tisha, 25, laying on the floor looking crestfallen alongside the caption: “8-0 in games…. to…. Me.”
But Tisha kept up the banter by filming a sweaty and exhausted-looking Alan as he rested between games – and apparently finally grabbed the ultimate victory over the Tyrone Dobbs star.

Soap veteran Alan is no stranger to keeping fit.
Last year, he decided to show off the results of an incredible body transformation that included seriously toned arms and abs.
He often uses social media to share pics of himself working out alongside various Corrie stars, including Sam Aston, Julia Goulding, Colson Smith and others.

A previous Insta post showed him struggling to lift weights while laughing at pal Colson, who was off camera.
He captioned the photo: “Trying to work out whilst laughing at @colsonjsmith having fun & working hard.
“Health is not just about the weights you’re lifting or what you’re eating. It’s also about what you’re thinking and saying! #mindandbody.”

He might be matey with his Corrie co-stars now – particularly when it comes to fitness – but it wasn’t always that way.
Alan has claimed he didn’t talk to any of them during his first year on the soap as he was so shy and intimidated.
Trish meanwhile departed Coronation Street in February 2018 – but if her own Instagram is anything to go by she’s certainly made an effort to stay in touch with the rest of the cast, being pictured with the likes of Sair Khan, Lucy Fallon and Faye Brookes.
In May last year, Alan split from wife Lucy-Jo Hudson after a nine-year marriage. The two have a daughter together, five-year-old Sienna-Rae.
Lucy has since started going out with new boyfriend Lewis Devine, 30, and in November the pair moved in together. They became friends after meeting in 2017 while starring in a Snow White panto, and got together after she and Alan parted ways.
Speaking to The Sun at the time, a source said: “Lucy-Jo and Lewis shared an instant chemistry, but obviously she was married and didn’t act on it.
“After trying for months, she and Alan called time on their marriage and something slowly developed with Lewis.”
The source also told the paper that news of Lucy-Jo getting with Lewis was particularly hard for Alan to take as he had also become friends with Lewis over the course of the panto run – to the point that they “often hung out as a trio”.
