Peter Andre has revealed that he’d love to be in a soap – and Hollyoaks fans will be pleased to know that he could be heading to Chester!
The revelation came after OK! Magazine told the star that Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe had said that she would like to see him in the soap – and he was surprisingly enthusiastic.
He told the magazine: “Let’s do it! I’ll go into Hollyoaks.”

Peter then went on to say that unfortunately we won’t be seeing him having a drink in the Dog in the Pond pub any time soon due to other work commitments…
“I’m really busy this year, but I’d love to do a soap. I like to try different things.”
While Peter’s clearly no stranger to being on our TV screens, he’s never actually done any serious acting… so maybe this could be something new to put on his CV.
Peter originally found fame as a singer back in the 90s, but then found a second wind of fame thanks to his numerous reality TV appearances.
As well as shows like ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, he has also tried his hand at a spot of presenting work on This Morning.
He has also made cameos in films like Keith Lemon:The Film.
So starring in a soap would be a first for Peter – and Hollyoaks seems like the perfect fit.
