Former Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury has shared a candid bikini selfie, showing off her “life-saving surgery” scar.
Four months ago, Julia underwent a triple hernia operation.
The star revealed she had put the surgery off for a year and said had she left it any longer, her life would’ve been in danger.
Opening up to the Express, mum-of-three Julia revealed that surgery was “essential”.
She said: “I had two umbilical hernias in my stomach and the third was an inguinal in my groin, which is not a good one, I could have died.”

She added: “I left it a year to have them done and shouldn’t have.”
Opening up about her recovery, Julia said she feels “useless”.
“The most difficult thing has been not lifting anything, including the children, because I realise how often I do it. I feel useless,” she added.

Relaxing on holiday in Greece, Julia posted a candid picture of herself in her bikini, where she can be seen pointing to her scar.
Her followers were quick to praise the honest post. One said: “Think you’re doing fantastic, and you look amazing.”
Another added: “Keep up the good work. Nice to know people on TV are human.”
While one joked: “Are you sure thats your triple hernia scar? Far too tiny and neat. Just admit you were attacked by a pesky turtle whilst sunbathing on their nesting zone!”
Back in April, Julia shared a selfie of herself recovering from the op in hospital.
A couple of months later she revealed she was taking it “very easy”.
