Daisy Lowe and Louise Redknapp have been the best of friends since meeting on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
And that close bond has now led to rumours of something beyond friendship – especially given Louise recently split from husband Jamie Redknapp.
Addressing the speculation on her Femme podcast, Daisy said: “I’m aware of all the lesbian hints. It actually makes me laugh.”

She went on to say: “People find it strange we are friends. Why? She’s an amazing, warm, honest woman. I’m proud of her.
“This is what women should do, support each other.”

Daisy, 28, and Louise, 42, became the best of friends while competing against each other on Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
And even though the show ended back in December, their bond has continued and strengthened over the last year, with Daisy being Louise’s support system following the break down of her 20-year marriage.
Their friendship is so close that Daisy even found herself blamed by some for ending the marriage, with rumours swirling she’d helped Louise rediscover her independence.
However, Louise fiercely defended her close pal in a recent interview with Stella magazine, saying: “Daisy is a mate who is an incredible cheerleader at a time when I’ve needed a lot of support.
“She’s a breath of fresh air because she has absolutely no filter. She completely believes in following your passion and fulfilling yourself as a woman, which I find really inspiring.”
And all the rumours won’t stop the two women being the best of friends.
Daisy gushed about Louise in her Femme podcast, saying she only launched the project because of the love and support of Louise.
“I don’t use best friend often especially with someone I’ve only known for a year but Louise Redknapp completely changed my life,” she said.
“The two of us became these kind of wonderful confidence boosters for one another.”
“And as she so kindly put it in an interview, we are like each other’s cheerleaders,” she added.
“I would never in a million years have the confidence to set up my own business, my own company, my own podcast if it wasn’t for the incredible nurture of one of my best friends.
“For a woman to be so firmly in the sisterhood, and so selfless and so kind, it meant the absolute world.”

While Daisy is more than happy to gush about how wonderful Louise is, she has refused to wade into her pal’s marriage split.
She shut down questioning about the Redknapps’ relationship during a recent interview on Lorraine, saying: “I love Jamie, I love Louise, I love their kids – but they have asked for their privacy.”
What a true friend.
