Dan Osborne has told wife Jacqueline Jossa he can’t wait to be reunited with her and doesn’t want her to “dread” seeing him again after their marital difficulties.
He became emotional on Celebrity Big Brother’s penultimate episode as he discussed reuniting with his children and wife, who he hasn’t had contact with since entering the Big Brother house on August 16.
With the finale looming on Monday night, former TOWIE star Dan, 27, has begun to reflect on what it will mean to see Jacqueline, 25, and his kids Teddy, four, Ella, three, and newborn baby Mia again.
In an emotional chat with the diary room, he said: “I just want to make my family proud. I want to make my children proud, that’s the main thing, I want to make my mum, my brothers, my wife, my friends, everyone, all of my family and friends, I want to just make them proud.”
Dan went on to touch on the rocky patch he experienced with former EastEnders star Jacqueline ahead of entering CBB.
They had well publicised issues in their marriage earlier this year, with Dan moving out of the family home, and Jacqueline said in an interview last week they still weren’t “officially back together” yet.

Dan said being in CBB had made him “appreciate” what he’s got in life.
He said of Jacqueline: “My wife, I don’t want her thinking back or anything… We weren’t amazing before here, and it’s being in here that’s made me realise my wrongs and made me appreciate what I have, to be honest.
“I want her to be excited to see me, not like dreading seeing me or…”
Looking emotional Dan continued: “After nearly four weeks of being away from home, I just want them all to be excited to see me rather than anything else.
“My children are absolutely everything to me, and the thought of them not being proud of me is the scariest thing in the world.
‘I just want to do my best for them and the best by them. I’ll probably make myself look like an idiot and cry my eyes out for an hour. I miss them so bad! I try and hide it every day, and I try and hold it in. I miss my children so bad!”
Jacqueline has said she won’t be at the CBB finale but will be cheering Dan on to win.
She shares children Ella and Mia with Dan, while Teddy is his son from a previous relationship.
The ex-soap star recently told OK! Magazine: “We’re not officially back together but he’s living with us so we spend every day together, and we’re getting on really well.

“It’s hard for me to discuss my relationship when we haven’t had a chance to talk about it properly. I don’t know what the future holds. Dan is my family and no matter what goes on in our marriage that won’t change.
“It’s a shame he went on the show while we were still figuring things out. The timing wasn’t great for us but I told him that if he felt like it was something he needed to do then I’d support him wholeheartedly.”
Celebrity Big Brother concludes tonight on Channel 5.
