Amber Gill has been having quite an interesting time of late after her stint on this year’s Love Island.
She won the show, and people loved her. She then landed herself a rather interesting gig with Loose Women, and it looked like the sky was the limit for the Love Island winner.
It was then suggested that she was also going to appear on Dancing On Ice, however, it looks like those rumours weren’t entirely true.
According to The Sun, ITV bosses opted for her Love Island co-star Maura Higgins instead.
The Sun reported that Dancing On Ice’s producers met with many Love Islanders before deciding to go with Maura.

“It was looking hopeful for Amber but Maura pipped her to the post with her sense of humour and personality.”
During Maura’s time on Love Island, she was taught a few moves by professional ballroom dancer Curtis Pritchard.

Maura and Curtis recently revealed that they still aren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
Speaking on This Morning, Curtis revealed: “I haven’t asked her to be my girlfriend yet and I am not going to do it on TV. If I’m going to do it, then it’s going to be private.”
ITV told Entertainment Daily: “We don’t comment on speculation around the Dancing on Ice 2020 line up. This will be announced in due course.”
However, an insider source revealed to Entertainment Daily: “At no point has Amber been booked or replaced on Dancing on Ice.”
