Dancing On Ice has confirmed that Jordan Banjo won’t be returning to the new series as a backstage correspondent.
The Diversity star interviewed the contestants backstage in a special training rink when the show returned earlier this year.
However, due to “scheduling conflicts” Jordan is unable to star in next year’s series alongside his brother Ashley Banjo, who is a judge on the show.

A spokesperson for Dancing On Ice told ED!: “Jordan isn’t able to return due to scheduling conflicts, and the whole team at Dancing on Ice wishes him well.”
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Dancing On Ice bosses are shaking up next year’s series by also replacing “three or four” professional skaters with new faces.
According to The Sun, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are set to return to the ice to perform for fans.
A source told the publication: “Everyone who watches the show wants to see them skate their famous Bolero and demand was huge for them to do it again.”
The insider also claimed there will be new professional dancers starring in the new series.
The insider added: “There will be a lot of new faces on the ice, too. Ale Izquierdo, who skated with Max Evans in this year’s show, won’t return, neither will Melody Le Moal, who was partnered with Lemar.
“Show bosses are bringing in new professionals to shake things up.”
A representative for Dancing On Ice told ED!: “We will be confirming our professionals line up in due course.”
The brand new series is expected to return sometime in January.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be returning as hosts.
The show recently announced the 12 celebrity contestants who will be taking to the ice.
Names include TOWIE star Gemma Collins, former Coronation Street star Jane Danson, ex EastEnders actor Richard Blackwood, ex Strictly dancer James Jordan, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, former X Factor star Saara Alto and Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.
