It seems odd talking about ice skating in the middle of summer, but we don’t care – Dancing On Ice returns to our TV screens in January 2018 and we’re already getting excited about it!
And today, The Sun published what it claims to be the confirmed line-up for the ITV figure-skating show, which is back after a three-year absence.
If the reports are true, we’re in for a treat, as it’s a real mish-mash of personalities that includes sports stars, a royal butler and a radio presenter.
And it appears that the rumours were true about a certain former model getting her skates on…
So, WHO is supposedly in?
Katie Price
The appearance of Katie Price on the show is likely to do wonders for ratings, as viewers tune in to find out what the former model and Loose Women star will say or do next.
She’s already turned up in the Celebrity Big Brother house and gobbled nasty insects on I’m A Celebrity, but gliding gracefully across the ice to Bolero? We’ll believe it when we see it!
Toby Anstis
His mid-morning DJ-ing slot on Heart FM will seem like a walk in the park for Toby Anstis, compared with doing a triple pirouette on the cold stuff.
Like Katie Price, he’s previously appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, so at least they’ll have something to talk about as they pull on their sequinned costumes.
Saira Khan
She managed to impress Sir Alan Sugar while finishing runner-up in the first ever series of The Apprentice back in 2005, but can Loose Women panellist and former Celebrity Big Brother star Saira Khan wow the judges on Dancing On Ice?
Those judges are rumoured to include Jason Gardiner, Karen Barber, and Torvill and Dean – so we wish her all the best!
Paul Burrell
As a former butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, Paul Burrell is used to dealing with royalty. But how will he cope when faced with an ice-dancing king and queen?
Torvill and Dean will be expecting perfection when it comes to those lifts and spins.

Burrell, 59, has plenty of reality-show experience under his belt, having previously appeared on Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes and I’m A Celebrity, so we reckon he should be OK.
Ebony Rainford-Brent
Retired cricketer Ebony captained the Surrey women’s team and also starred for England, so we don’t think she’ll be too stumped when it comes to the physical demands of Dancing On Ice.
Named by Attitude magazine as one of the year’s most Eligible Bachelors, Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side contributor Stephen earns a living as a comedian, so we’re expecting a few laughs when he takes to the ice rink – intentional or otherwise.
And it seems like the show’s producers are hoping for the same thing.
One insider told The Sun Online: “The audience love it when there’s banter with the judges, and Stephen would have them in hysterics.”
Alex Gerrard
Jane Torvill has said that she – or rather her football-mad son – would love to see former Liverpool star Steven Gerrard on the ice one day.

This year, she’ll have to make do with Stevie’s wife Alex. The model only gave birth to her fourth child, Lio, a couple of months ago.
So it’ll be interesting to see how she copes with the physical assertion of ice dancing so soon after.
Max Evans
Former Scotland international rugby player Max Evans is sure to set female hearts racing when he pulls on his Lycra cossie.
And having split from his wife of two years – US model Katie Johnson – back in January, he’s single too.
Sally Morgan
Once dubbed “Britain’s Best Loved Psychic”, Sally Morgan tours the country talking to spirits and doing readings for members of the public. She’s also published several books on the subject.
At 65, she would be the oldest contestant in this year’s show.
Antony Cotton
Corrie legend Antony Cotton – regular viewers will recognise him as Sean Tully – is currently climbing Ben Nevis to raise money for charity.
Whether he can raise his skating partner in a daring lift could be another matter entirely!
Amber Hill
Sharp-shooter Amber Hill is no stranger to competing in big competitions – she took part in the skeet event at last year’s Rio Olympics.
Sadly, she wasn’t among the medal winners on that occasion, but we reckon the 20-year-old could be among the favourites on the ice show.
Olly Smith
You may recognise Olly Smith as This Morning’s resident wine expert. The 42-year-old’s boundless enthusiasm is a joy to behold.
We doubt very much he’ll be allowed to sip plonk before walking out onto the ice rink, though. Those acrobatics are hard enough to do sober!
Rochdale-born Katie joined the cast of Coronation Street in 2013, and plays Sinead Tinker.
Her Corrie co-star Samia Longchambon took part in DOI – and bagged herself a husband, skate partner Sylvain!
Candice Brown
Candice won the nation’s hearts as the winner of last year’s Great British Bake-Off.
Since then, she’s published her own cook-book, Comfort.
However, she’ll be very much out of her comfort zone when she takes off those oven gloves for this great British SKATE-off!
