Dancing On Ice star Kem Cetinay wants a role in EastEnders as ‘new Alfie Moon’

Eyeing up a soap role

Dancing On Ice star Kem Cetinay has begged EastEnders bosses for a role in the soap according to a report in The Daily Star on Sunday

Kem, who found fame on last year’s reality smash Love Island, told the publication that a role on the BBC show would be his dream.

He said: “I absolutely love EastEnders.

“I’m a lifelong fan – I never miss it. I really want to be on it. I could be Alfie Moon.

“I’d be perfect for that role. I know I’m not an actor or a pro, but I could still do it.”

His comments come just a week after it was rumoured his ex-girlfriend Amber Davies was in secret talks for a role in Coronation Street.

The Sun said that Amber has been in secret talks with Corrie’s casting directors and producers.

It’s not as bizarre as it seems as the reality star is actually trained in theatre, dance and singing – so she’s qualified for an acting role.

A source told the paper: “Amber had a secret meeting with the casting director on Corrie last week and things were looking promising.

“Her acting agent had set up the discussion and she came away from the mini-audition full of confidence and bosses certainly liked her.

“She’s been determined to get into acting ever since winning ‘Love Island’ so it felt like a positive move.”

Gorgeous Amber previously said of her soap dreams: “I definitely would love to go into a soap. I’ve trained for three years in musical theatre and that is one of my biggest dreams.

“I would love to use my talent and passion to do what I want and to have a long, nice, future in what I love to do.

“There’s a lot more to me than just being on Love Island and, of course, I will always be grateful because it gave me that platform and I’ve experienced some incredible things since coming out and that will never ever go but I’m trying to work as hard as I can.”
