Danny Dyer has shared his pride after daughter Dani confirmed she’s signed up for a new reality show.
It was reported yesterday that Dani, 21, was tipped to take part in Survival Of The Fittest, a battle of the sexes show which has been dubbed ‘Winter Love Island’ as it’s from the same programme makers and involves glam singletons.
Now it has been confirmed the EastEnders actor’s daughter WILL star in the ITV2 show.
Sharing one of the official shots of her promoting the new programme on his Instagram, Danny wrote: “How on earth this fine specimen came from my loins I will never know. #survivalofthefittest #Dani.”
The news was also confirmed on Dani’s own Instagram account, although it seems she didn’t write the post herself as she’s already travelled to the set in South Africa where they’ll be no contact with the outside world.

Her Instagram post read: “FINALLY IT’S HERE!!! After months of keeping this in and rumours over the past 24 hours I am so excited to see my girls face on Sunday 11 Feb @9pm for the new series of Survival of the fittest!!!!!
“WHO’S GOING TO BE WATCHING ?! The countdown begins….5 days to go.”

Dani’s parents Danny and Joanne Mas have been together for more than 20 years after meeting as teenagers and they also have another daughter, Sunnie, ten, and son, Arty, four.
She said she’ll miss her family terribly while she’s away.
“I am a homely person so if it comes to anything happening that is sensitive, it would get to me. I will miss home and family, I’ve never really been away from home so to be away from them with no contact, that will be difficult,” she said.
But she added: “I’m so excited about everything – doing the challenges, meeting new people. I’ve never done anything like this. To actually go onto the telly and compete against someone in these big challenges, it doesn’t happen every day.”
Dani said her 40-year-old dad, best known for playing Mick Carter in EastEnders, gave her a gentle warning before she left.
She said: “He is excited about me being on the show. When I first told him, like any dad, he had his protective hat on and said, ‘Don’t do anything silly.’
“Now he is getting it and he said, ‘it feels real now and I’m so proud of you.’
“He knows the person I am and he is really excited and it’s nice to have that support at home.
“He probably will be emotional as well.
“My mum and dad will be watching it every single night.”
