Former EastEnders star Danny Dyer has revealed he will be undergoing an operation on his testicles following advice from his dad.
The actor made the announcement on his Live And Let Dyers podcast, which he hosts with his Love Island star daughter Dani.
Danny Dyer to have an operation on ‘big nut’
Danny revealed he would be going under the knife to have his testicles taken care of after suffering from a hydrocele. According to the NHS, a hydrocele is “a fluid-filled sack along the spermatic cord within the scrotum”. Hydroceles can occur on one or both sides.
“I need to get it done – is have a reduction on my winkle. Well, it’s just too big,” he said as a joke before Dani corrected him. “My big nut, yeah. I do need to get that [done].”

After his own father previously had the operation, he convinced Danny, who had “always been on my case”, to also have the procedure done.
“Like: ‘Listen, you’ve got to get that [bleep] done, it ain’t right.’ You know… ‘God didn’t make you that way,'” his father would tell him.
Danny’s said his father went to “some sort of backstreet doctor in Custom House”, as he “didn’t want to pay for it”.
However, after nagging him to undergo the same operation, his father told him not to get it done, insisting he couldn’t sit down after.
That said, despite the “conflicting message”, Danny knows it’ll be “something that I will get done eventually”.
‘Plastic surgery is a no for me’
During an extract from his book, The World According To Danny Dyer: Life Lessons From The East End, Danny opened up about plastic surgery.
“Plastic surgery is a no for me. I wouldn’t do Botox, I need my face, it is important. I need expressions,” he shared.
However, there is one thing Danny would consider changing about his body…
“The only thing I would have done is my [bleep]s, which have arrived recently, my little man cups,” he added.
“I don’t mind having a couple of chins, I don’t mind having a bit of a bum on me or having a bit of a belly. Do not give me a pair of [bleep]s, please. Anything but [bleep]s,” he said, referring to his chest.
