Danny Dyer has shared a rare and intimate remark about his wife Joanne Mas, calling her the “most important person” in his life.
The EastEnders star usually keeps his personal life away from the spotlight but made an exception on Wednesday in honour of Valentine’s Day.
Alongside a black and white pic of Joanne gazing at him, he wrote: “Happy Valentine’s Day to the most important person in my life. Without this strong take no [bleep] woman by my side I’m destined to be an average man.
“I’m ten a penny without her. Love you.”
The 40-year-old’s sweet and sentimental message marks the first time he’s spoken about his wife since rumours last year of trouble in their relationship.

There was a wave of unconfirmed speculation that Danny and Joanne were experiencing a rocky patch in their marriage but their daughter Dani, 21, recently came forward to say it was all rubbish and her parents were “really strong”.
She also dismissed rumours Danny had briefly moved out of the family home, saying he’d simply found a flat near the EastEnders studio for when he’s working late nights, but very much still lived in the main family house.
And Danny’s lovely message just proves that even further!
Fans were quick to praise Danny’s sentiment, with one telling him: “You big softie. Love it.”
Another said: “What a lovely thing to say.”
Danny and his childhood sweetheart Joanne met at school when they were just 14 years old.
They married in a country hotel in Hampshire two years ago.
At the time, Danny told Hello! magazine: “I could not have hoped for a more beautiful day. To be standing here with the girl I grew up with – looking so beautiful here in her wedding dress – that is a lovely thing.
“Jo is my best girl – the love of my life.”
They have three children: Dani, 21, Sunnie, ten, and four-year-old Artie.
Eldest daughter has been making a name for herself in showbiz. As well as having a string of acting credits to her name, she also appeared in the new ITV2 reality show, Survival of the Fittest.
Unfortunately for Dani, her time at the lodge was short-lived as she sustained a shoulder injury in the first challenge and was ruled out of the programme.
A gutted Dani told fans: “I am truly heartbroken that I have had to leave the lodge. I dislocated my shoulder and am currently in a sling so for health and safety I wasn’t able to do the challenges.
Such a Dani thing to do. Thank you for all of your support it means the world to me and more.”

Dad Danny, meanwhile, said: “Live and Let Live baby girl. Taken out by a [bleep] slide. Don’t think my heart could have taken another 3 weeks of that caper. #Proud.”
