A rejuvenated Danny Dyer has been snapped for the first time during his extended break from Walford.
The 39-year-old dad was pictured looking his cheeky chappy self with a fan in a restaurant in South Africa.
A fellow diner, whose nose was twitching when they clapped eyes on the ‘Enders ledge, said: “Danny was looking a lot healthier and seemed to be glowing.

“He was happy to pose for pictures with fans and appeared to be in good spirits.”
“He kept his head down and was checking his phone. He was flying first class and sat in the lounge on his iPad drinking a couple of beers.”
The troubled actor was spotted jetting off to the resort in South Africa in the middle of February.
An eagle-eyed traveller said at the time: “Danny was travelling by himself on an evening flight. He had a porter dealing with his luggage but other than that he was flying solo.
The Albert Square star rocked up in Cape Town on the 11th and was seen mixing with young fans on a school cricket tour.
It was reported last month that EastEnders producers had forced Danny to take time off the show to “sort his life out”.
It’s thought the decision might have had something to do with his party boy antics.
A BBC source said: “The producers are concerned about him for a number of reasons.
“It was clear to onlookers he appeared very drunk at the NTAs. It’s best that he takes some time out to sort his life out. He appears to be exhausted.
“As a result, Danny is not filming on the show at all. He’s taking a break that is expected to last a number of weeks.
“At the end of the day, he remains the biggest star of the show — so everyone is determined to get him back to his best.”

Last month a video emerged of the actor apparently “kicking off” after the National Television Awards.
The star had to be calmed down by co-stars after becoming agitated.
There were unconfirmed rumours Danny had returned to set last week but the BBC didn’t confirm he’d started filming again and now there’s proof he’s still soaking up the sun and getting back on top.
There’s still no date for his return to the set.
