EastEnders’ Danny Dyer has been proudly rooting for his daughter Dani as she continues her stint on Love Island.
But the actor, 40, has admitted he’s starting to really miss his “baby girl”.
Danny penned a touching message to Dani on Twitter on Sunday night, shortly before she and fellow islander Jack Fincham officially became girlfriend and boyfriend.

Danny, who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap, tweeted: “I know she’s doing well… holding her own and all that [expletive]… but it’s gotta be declared… I proper miss my baby girl now.”
Fans were thrilled by Danny’s adorable post.
One person gushed: “She is making you proud, most genuine young lady in there,” while another said: “Dani is an absolute credit to you Danny!”
And it seems Danny may have to wait a few more weeks to be reunited with his daughter as she and Jack are the favourites to win the show.
A third person added: “Hope she and Jack win,” while another tweeted: “Dani and Jack to win!!!”
Earlier this month, Dani’s mum Joanne Mas said Danny got “choked up” when he saw Dani wrestle with her feelings over Jack.
Dani was hurt when Jack said in a game of Truth Or Dare that he would consider re-coupling with now-dumped islander Hayley Hughes.
Speaking of how Danny reacted to his daughter’s tears, Jo told the Sunday People: “He obviously got a bit choked up when she was sad about finding out that Jack was a [expletive].
“That’s his daughter and they have a very close bond.”
However, it seems Dani and Jack, who have been coupled up since day one, have finally worked through things and are now officially a couple!
On Sunday night’s episode, 20-year-old stationery seller Jack finally plucked up the courage to ask Dani to be his girlfriend.
He told Dani: “I meant it when I said I want you to meet my mum and my family.
“I do really want to be with you and walk out of here with you and be together.”
He then asked her the all-important question leaving Dani throwing her hand over her mouth.

She replied: “Of course I’ll be your girlfriend,” before planting a kiss on Jack.
Speaking in the Beach Hut afterwards, Dani gushed: “I can’t believe it. I’m actually in shock. I’ve got a boyfriend. Whoopydo!
“I hope my dad’s happy. We’ll still go for sushi because jack don’t like it. My dad’s got my first place in my heart. And Jack can have the second.”
