During the Olivier Awards, Danny Dyer made a joke about Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, that was so cheeky it had to be cut from the broadcast.
The EastEnders actor was presenting an award when he reportedly made the rude remark to the royal.
However, it’s been said that show bosses were so concerned about its nature that they decided to cut it from the edit that went out on ITV on Sunday evening.
As he took to the stage, Danny, 41, turned his attention to Prince Charles’ wife.
According to The Sun, he said to 71-year-old Camilla: “No Charlie tonight? I’ll pop up and see you later.”
A source told the publication: “Danny’s known for his cheeky humour but bosses were hoping he’d keep it in check – especially as Camilla was in the audience.

“The ceremony is very formal so anything close to the line makes producers nervous. Some saw his gag as a step too far. It had to be cut from the final broadcast, no question. It could have upset the Duchess.”
Ent Daily has contacted a representative for Danny and ITV for comment.
It seems the show’s bosses didn’t want anything to tarnish the prestigious theatre awards ceremony, which sees respected actors attending from all over the globe.
Despite his hiccup with Camilla, Danny looked the part. He arrived looking dapper in a suede jacket and bow tie.
