It will certainly mean a lot if Danny Mac wins Strictly Come Dancing, that is for certain.
The Hollyoaks actor wants to win the Glitterball Trophy so badly, that he even broke down in tears when talking about it on the eve of the final of the BBC dance competition.
Danny has been the most consistent performer over the weeks, grabbing tens like they were going out of fashion.
He looks like he would be the favourite to win but during an interview on Strictly off-shoot, It Takes Two, Danny revealed the reason why he wants to finish off being crowned as champion.
Danny has been so taken by the commitment to his Strictly journey by his professional dance partner, Oti Mabuse, that he wants to repay her with a win in the final.

He said: “This amazing woman took this guy on and believed she could teach him how to dance.
“And I what I’ve done is because of her week after week.
“I can’t believe it’s me doing that.”
Danny continued, while wiping away tears: “She’s the most incredible person and it would mean the world to me to be able to give her that final spot.
“I love you!
“To see her lift it, that’s all I can give her back!”
Standing in his way as he looks to win Strictly is Louise Redknapp and Ore Oduba, who have matched Danny for most of the way.

It would seem that Danny could be back next year as well.
This time, it would be as part of the audience though, as it seems that his fiancee Carley Stenson is hoping to follow in his footsteps onto the Strictly dance floor.
A source told The Sun: “Both parties have arranged to speak in the new year about making her desire to follow Danny’s sensational footsteps in this year’s series.”
