There are many upsides to being famous – the money and adulation it brings, for starters.
But there can be downsides that no one should have to put up with, and these have been exacerbated by the introduction of social media and smart phones.

Emmerdale favourite Danny Miller always makes time for his fans – anyone that follows his Twitter and Instagram will see that.
But he’s (very understandably) lost his rag after a recent intrusion by a member of the public.
The Aaron Dingle actor revealed that someone tried to take a picture of him in the changing rooms of his gym.
While he was showering and getting dressed!

And, even more shockingly, he admits that it happens all the time. He only noticed because the idiot had left on the auto flash!
I’m happy to meet people. Just not when trying to get showered and dressed in a gym changing room and you’ve some pervert who’s too f**king thick to turn the auto flash light off.
Happens all the time. Imagine me doing that to someone..

His supporters were appalled…
This is just terrible and disgusting and I’m really sorry this happened to you and not just once 😖 People have no damn respect anymore. Shouldn’t be allowed to use a phone. Hope you’re ok and you reported this twat!!!!

I’ve always told my daughter, who is a serious fan girl, that there is a time and a place to “meet” stars. Some people just have zero respect for others privacy.

I’m so sorry Danny you had to go thru this People are so rude and they shouldn’t be Invading your Privacy like that sending love your way ❤️❤️❤️

Some people have no sense of what is appropriate @DannyBMiller. If you want a picture then firstly wait until out of changing room then secondly ask! Hope you confronted said pervert. Hope your day gets better.💜xxx

His pal, Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, tweeted back a message of support…
He expressed his own frustrations about strangers trying to take pictures of him without even acknowledging him.
👏 I am constantly amazed but the amount of “adults” who think it’s acceptable to take photos without even speaking to you …. and even worse when I’m with my daughter!! https://t.co/Wy4nxOghaH
