David Platt will come face to face with the man who will go on to rape him in this week’s Coronation Street.
Josh Tucker arrived in Weatherfield during Friday night’s episodes and wasted no time getting involved in the community by bagging himself a job at the garage.

He then got his feet even more under the table when he suggested a charity boxing match in memory of murdered Luke Britton, who will be buried this week.
On Friday David – along with Jude, Angie, Gemma, Maria, Shona and Sophie – meet Josh in the Rovers to find out who they’ll be fighting in the match.
Maria looks horrified when she finds out she’ll be fighting Shona, who takes pleasure in winding her up.
While the group chat Josh sidles over to David commenting that he thought his boxing moves he saw earlier were looked ‘tasty.’
On first look, it seems nothing more sinister than some pub banter, but could this actually be the moment that Josh decides to target David?
Last year it was announced that David would be at the centre of the harrowing storyline, and would be drugged and attacked after enjoying a night out with his new mate.
The storyline has already got fans talking, with many threatening to boycott the ITV soap because of it.
Corrie bosses have said the actual rape won’t be shown, but implied, the storyline focusing on how David copes in the aftermath.
A source revealed to The Mirror: “There won’t be any sexually explicit scenes, what has happened to David will be implied by his reaction and behaviour when he wakes up the next day and starts to remember some of what happened.

“With Josh still on the street, David struggles to deal with the shame of what has happened to him. This is a big storyline for Jack and everyone is determined to get it right.”
