BGT star David Walliams has been slammed by annoyed fans after he shared a photo of himself kissing a dolphin on holiday in Dubai.
The comedian and writer is off on hols with his mum but his peaceful break was disrupted by fans’ annoyed outbursts on social media after he innocently shared the pic.
David posted the photograph of himself canoodling the friendly dolphin in clear blue water, but he was immediately criticised by followers who pointed out that the intelligent mammals are traumatised by swimming with humans.

“Swimming with dolphins is cruel and unnecessary,” said one fan.
Another added: “I am so disappointed to see this. I thought better of you and thought you were an animal lover.”
And another pointed out: “These beautiful creatures are stolen from their home and family, just because some people pay for this cruelty.”
But some fans stuck up for David, who’s a well-known animal lover.

“Seriously people, he never meant to cause any harm or upset,” one fan pointed out.
Studies have shown that the stress caused to dolphins in captivity can weaken their immune systems and make them prone to disease, so they die younger than wild dolphins.
