Davina McCall takes first steps towards goal of becoming a qualified personal trainer

And the presenter's fans are thrilled for her

If you’ve been following Davina McCall on social media, you’ll know that the former Big Brother presenter is incredibly buff these days.

The mum-of-three has always been into her fitness, and has released no fewer than 14 DVDs on the subject. But at 50 years old, she’s never looked better.

With all that experience behind her, it’s understandable that Davina would want to take the next step in her fitness journey and earn a qualification so that she can officially teach others how to get into shape.

And judging by an Instagram post she shared yesterday, the star has already begun that process…

Davina uploaded a photo of herself smiling in between two gurus from London fitness organisation LDN Muscle.

She captioned the snap: “Thank you thank you thank you @je_ldnm and @mb_ldnm… I’ve started my goal for 2018… to get qualified… hopefully to PT [personal trainer].

“I learned so much and loved every minute! Feeling really excited about it!”

And her followers were in no doubt that she’ll pass her training with flying colours.

One enthused: “You will be an incredible #PT! You have worked so hard and are such an inspiration. Thank YOU!”

Another encouraged: “Amazing – look forward to seeing you smash that goal in 2018. It’s definitely the year for achieving.”

And a third fan added: “I wish you all the very best in your new adventure… I hope one day I can have a session with you! You are an incredible strong and beautiful woman!! Xox.”

Hopefully, Davina’s training will help to lift her spirits after her marriage to Matthew Robertson came to an end just before Christmas.

The pair were married for 17 years and have three children together – daughters Holly, 16, and Tilly, 14, and son Chester, 11.

Back in 2014, Davina took part in an endurance challenge for BT Sport Relief.

‘Davina: Beyond Breaking Point’ saw the presenter spend seven days running, swimming and cycling across the UK, raising a staggering £2,239,931 in the process.

We reckon she’ll get that personal-training qualification – no sweat.
