Death In Paradise has been compared to Doctor Who in recent weeks, with the cast becoming a revolving door of faces.
This eighth series alone, viewers have waved goodbye to fan favourites Officer Dwayne Myers (adventuring), Patrice Campbell (shot dead) and detective Florence Cassell (nearly shot dead, but adventuring).

Fans have already had to adapt to Ardal O’Hanlon replacing Kris Marshall as the chief detective on the Caribbean island.
Kris had already replaced DI Richard Poole, portrayed by Ben Miller, who was the first to arrive on the dangerous island of Saint Marie in 2011.
You’d think there was something wrong with filming on a beautiful island for half the year!

Now not even likeable Ardal is safe as Jack Mooney.
This Thursday (21 February), a famous radio presenter is murdered live on air and Jack must unravel a complex mystery to find the culprit.
But his job is in danger, as his every move is being watched by an officer from internal affairs after the death of his colleague Florence.
Even Commissioner Patterson is worried Jack will fail to impress humourless internal affairs investigator DS Madeline Dumas, and tells him: “Maybe while she is with us, it might be better if you are a little less yourself.”
If found to be culpable for Patrice’s death or the departure of Florence, DI Jack faces being kicked out of the police force and sent back to the UK!
Jack knows he must do everything he can to impress DS Dumas – his job depends on it!
As if this wasn’t all distracting enough, watch out for a star turn by former EastEnders actor Richard Blackwood.
The Dancing On Ice star turns up amidst the action, but very little has been revealed about his character.
Which means he’s the killer, right?
