Denise Welch accidentally goes out wearing ‘rude’ looking top

Once you see it...

Denise Welch left fans on social media in stitches when she revealed a clothing faux pas.

The 61-year-old soap star and Loose Women presenter thought she was wearing a top that had funky patterns on.

But thanks to her husband Lincoln Townley, Denise soon realised that the patterns looked like something else.

She uploaded the hilarious picture to social media site Instagram and wrote: “What do you see??? A nice funky pattern or rude things!! @lincolntownley has made me think I’m walking around in a [bleep] top!!!!”

Tickled fans replied to the joke.

One wrote: “Have to agree with your husband there,” followed by a laughter emoji.

Another replied: “Well now that it’s been ‘pointed’ out, really there’s no going back now, is there?” with a wink emoji.

“Yeah as my mind is in the gutter have to agree with hubster,” one more wrote.

Denise and Lincoln – 15 years her junior – were married in 2013 following her divorce from actor Tim Healy in 2012 after 23 years of marriage.

Back in April, Denise revealed that she was celebrating seven years of not drinking.

She made the decision to stop drinking after being shown a video of her actions by hubby Lincoln, who made her realise she needed to address her problems.

Denise has also been open about her battles with mental illness.

On Loose Women recently, she described having a panic attack on-stage while she was starring in a theatre version of Calendar Girls.

Denise, who has previously spoken about her “clinical depression”, explained that she had been battling a virus and where she felt physically unwell, it had an effect on her mentally.
