Denise Welch addresses health issues in Instagram story
Denise posted an Instagram Story last night (December 29) in which she addressed her recent health scare.
“I’ve had a very bumpy few weeks health-wise,” she wrote, “which resulted in sadly having to pull out of my first pantomime in 12 years.
“So it was lovely to feel well enough to enjoy Christmas with my family.”
“I’m eventually getting round to posting a few videos,” she added. She wrote the note over a video of her dancing with her son Matty and his fiancée Gabbriette.

Denise had to cancel Peter Pan in Nottingham
The Loose Women panelist was due to appear in Peter Pan at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham.
She had also organised her annual charity ball to raise money for GEM Appeal. GEM is a Rochdale-based charity that funds research for life-threatening genetic disorders and errors in metabolism.
However, she had to cancel both in early December, The Sun reports.
The Theatre Royal replaced her with Casualty star Richard Winsor. The GEM ball went ahead without her.
Denise previously opened up about her struggles with her mental health. In November, Irish News reported that she no longer lived in fear of depression coming back.
She spoke to the paper about self-care, positive ageing and making life as stress-free as possible.
