Eamonn and Ruth are infamous for getting into light-hearted spats on This Morning, and this Bank Holiday Monday proved no different.
The married couple made several jibes at one another as they interviewed self-proclaimed shaman Durek Verrett.
Durek, an American, who counts Gwyneth Paltrow as a client and friend, looked bemused as he encountered the couple’s banter.

Ruth seemed rather dismissive of Durek, and said she was surprised he saw her as negative when they’d only chatted for 30 seconds behind the scenes.
Durek corrected her by saying he didn’t see her as negative but rather as stubborn.
And a delighted Eamonn was seen slamming his hands on the This Morning desk with glee and then rubbing his hands together.
“He tapped into you!” jibed Eamonn.
“I read your files and I picked up on your stubbornness,” claimed Durek.

“I am stubborn,” agreed Ruth: “I also don’t give in.”
Eamonn continued: “It’s the same thing. But the shaman’s saying that people who have walls like that have them for a reason.
“People are worried about finding out if they’re the real them. But I am an open book to him.”
Ruth looked rather frustrated by this point.
“You are wonderful,” said Durek, to which Ruth raised her eyebrows in apparent disbelief.
Later on the pair teased one another yet again.

As they chatted to Durek, Ruth playfully observed that Eamonn clearly didn’t have a problem with self-confidence but that many others do.
“Cos they’re wonderful, those people are wonderful!” Eamonn hit back with a massive grin – clearly harking back to Duruk’s earlier compliment.
Several viewers voiced their enjoyment of the segment over on Twitter.
One joked: “Shaman lives up to his name by immediately shaming and throwing shade at Ruth.”
And a second wrote: “Loving @EamonnHolmes & Ruth’s banter about this before the break.”
